Campers embark on a 5-day journey of hands-on STEM learning, astronaut training, and engineering challenges. They will explore immersive simulators in the Astronaut Training Experience® Center, tour Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, and tackle real-world challenges faced by astronauts. This extended program includes additional engineering design challenges tailored to each age group, making for an educational and inspiring experience like no other! 🚀
Camp Activities
🚀 Astronaut Training Experience
Train like a real astronaut! Campers will land, walk, and drive on Mars using virtual and motion simulators. They'll also experience microgravity during a simulated spacewalk.
🌱 Mars Base 1
Step into the future of space exploration! Campers will solve emergencies, program robots to optimize solar energy, and grow plants in the Botany Lab—just like real astronauts preparing for life on Mars.
🛰 Kennedy Space Center Tours
Explore exhibits and attractions throughout the visitor complex, discovering the challenges astronauts and engineers face daily through hands-on activities and experiments.
🔧 Engineering Design Challenges
Work in teams to follow the Engineering Design Process—ask, imagine, plan, create, test, and revise—to tackle exciting engineering challenges inspired by real NASA missions!
Camp Information
💰 Tuition: $695.50
👩🚀 Ages: 10-17 (Groups of 24+ required)
🕘 Schedule: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Lunch & snacks provided)
